Національний банк заперечує неконтрольовану емісію гривні.
Про це сказано в повідомленні НБУ.
«Останнім часом ЗМІ поширюють виступ пані Юлії Тимошенко, у якому вона наводить інформацію відносно нібито здійснюваної Нацбанком неконтрольованої емісії грошей обсягом понад 80 млрд. гривень. Національний банк офіційно заявляє, що така інформація не відповідає дійсності», – зазначається в повідомленні.
НБУ розцінює такі заяви як спробу створення штучного ажіотажу й спробу дестабілізації ситуації на грошово-кредитному ринку з метою одержання політичних дивідендів.
За даними Нацбанку, в 2010 році (станом на 20 жовтня) здійснено емісію (випуск грошей в обіг за мінусом їх вилучення з обігу) обсягом близько 36 млрд. гривень.
«При цьому жодного відношення до фінансування бюджетних видатків (така емісія) не має. Велику частину коштів, випущених в обіг (майже 90%) було спрямовано на купівлю іноземної валюти з метою поповнення золотовалютних резервів», – сказано в повідомленні.
НБУ підкреслює, що емісія перебуває під контролем, свідченням чого є низький показник інфляції в 2010 році порівняно з 2009.
Нацбанк закликає ЗМІ бути обережними при поширенні заяв політиків, які можуть негативно вплинути на очікування населення, і перевіряти відповідну інформацію перед її публікацією.
Як повідомлялось, 18 жовтня фракція Блоку Юлії Тимошенко ініціювала створення тимчасової слідчої комісії Верховної Ради з розслідуванню причин можливої несанкціонованої емісії гривні Національним банком.
Раніше лідер БЮТ Юлія Тимошенко обвинуватила владу в безконтрольній емісії гривні.
NBU Denies Uncontrolled Hryvnia Emission
The National Bank of Ukraine denies uncontrolled emission of the hryvnia, reads a statement made by the NBU.
«Recently mass media have been blowing a speech by madam Yulia Tymoshenko in which she cites information alleging an uncontrolled emission of the money by the National Bank in the amount exceeding UAH 80 billion. The National Bank returns, this information is incorrect,» the statement stressed.
The central bank takes such outgivings as an attempt to instigate artificial excitement and destabilise the situation on the monetary market for the purpose of attaining political dividends.
As to the National Bank, in 2010 (as at October 20) they have made an emission (issue of money take their withdrawal from circulation) in the amount of about UAH 36 billion.
«[This emission] has nothing to do with financing budget outlays. Most of the outstanding means [almost 90%] was channelled to buy foreign currency to the effect of replenishing gold currency reserves,» the statement said.
The NBU stressed, the emission is under control, which is evidenced by a low inflation rate in 2010 as compared with 2009.
The National Bank is exhorting the media to be careful when spreading politicians' outgivings that may have negative impact on the population's expectations, and to verify relevant information before publishing it.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction on October 18 moved forward with an initiative to set up an interim parliamentary investigative commission to investigate reasons of possible unsanctioned emissions of the hryvnia by the National Bank.
Before, the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc leader Yulia Tymoshenko accused the authorities of uncontrolled emission of the hryvnia.
